Client: Ord Valley Events

Event Name: Ord Valley Muster, 2020

Role: Event Director

30 events. 10 exciting days.  Arts. Culture. Entertainment. The multi-award winning Argyle Diamonds Ord Valley Muster is set against the stunning East Kimberley landscape.  Since it's humble beginning in 2001, the Muster has grown at lightning speed to be firmly established as a pre-eminent event in the national festival calendar, being a 3 time Hall of Fame Inductee at the WA Tourism Awards as well as being officially recognised as one the Best Regional Events in Australia. 10,000+ ticket sales are generated across the 10 day event.

Event Name: Brisbane Pride Fair Day, 2017

Role: Event Consult, Infrastructure  & Logistics

Brisbane Pride Fair Day is Queensland’s biggest LGBTIQ event. Fair Day is held in New Farm Park during September each year and is is a family-friendly event for the Brisbane and surrounding communities. Over 7,000 people attended Brisbane Pride Fair day in 2017.

Client: Urban Development Insititute of QLD

Event Name: UDIA QLD Awards, 2015

Role: Event Consult, Entertainment & Styling

The Institute’s Awards for Excellence is one of Queensland’s most respected and highly regarded industry Awards programs. The program is unapologetically rigorous, taking eight months from launch through to the completion of judging. A UDIA Award is a true sign of excellence, quality, and industry best practice.

 


 

Client: Institute of Public Administration National

Event Name: IPAA National Conference, 2011

Role: Conference Manager

The Institute of Public Administration Australia is a nonpartisan and apolitical member-based organisation which provides public sector thought leadership and works to strengthen the capacity of public servants through events, training and other activities. The IPAA National Conference has delegates around the national join international speakers to discuss the challenges and opportunities that minority government presents for public administrators.


 

Client: Gold Coast City Marina & Shipyard

Event Name: The Australian Superyacht Rendezvous, 2017, 2018, 2019

Role: Event Manager

The Australian Superyacht Rendezvous is an innovative and exciting event for superyacht owners, captains, crew and invited professionals from the tourism, event, hospitality, media and yachting industries. The rendezvous aims to promote the superyacht industry in Australia, create new relationships and throw a spotlight on the incredible economic impact superyachts provide to Australia.  1,0000+ attendees over 5 events across 3 days.

Event Name: Maroon Festival, 2017

Role: Producer

40,000 Queenslanders of all ages flocked to celebrate State of Origin and meet the XXXX Queensland Maroons. Other special guests included Petero Civoniceva, Wendell Sailor, Wally Lewis, and Brent Tate. Along with meeting ruby legends, attendees were treated to a complimentary live performance by Busby Marou, a River Parade, and Tastes of QLD food stalls. The event concluded a few days later with a live State of Origin broadcast.

Event Name: UDIA National Congress, 2014

Role: Event Director

The Urban Development Institute of Australia is a leading development industry body, representing more than 2000 member companies and agencies across the public and private sector. Held over three days, the UDIA National Congress provides an opportunity to hear from high-profile speakers focusing on the urban development industry in Australia, international case studies and what’s next for the industry in terms of innovation and market demand. 

Client: Major Brisbane Festivals

Event Name/s: Opera Under the Stars, Symphony at Sunset and Into Africa, 2010

Role: Programme Manager

Brisbane Festival is one of Australia's major international arts festivals. Each September, it explodes across the city with a thrilling program of theatre, music, dance, circus, opera and major public events such as Sunsuper Riverfire. Brisbane Festival attracts an audience of around one million people every year.

Client: Myriad Technology Conferences

Event Name: Myriad, 2018

Role: Producer

Myriad festival was a fantastic opportunity for local entrepreneurs to showcase Queensland innovation to the world and connect with some of the worlds’ leading innovators, investors and thinkers. Myriad is privately founded and independently managed and was presented in  in strategic partnership with the Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland initiative. The 2018 event accommodated 3,000 attendees across two days of exhibition and conference format, with content delivered across 4 stages.

Event Name: Various Christmas Celebrations

Role: Event Management

This client is a leading financial services provider in Australia and New Zealand, enabling more than nine million customers to better protect and enhance their financial well-being. 16,000 attendees across all major capital cities within Australia and New Zealand in 2016.

 

 


 

Client: Urban Development Institute of QLD

Event Name: UDIA QLD Annual Developers Conference, 2013

Role: Event Director

Each year the UDIA Qld Annual Developers’ Conference brings together the Queensland property development industry to share expertise, expand frameworks of knowledge, and to enhance industry relationships. The conference in held across two full days and includes a showcase exhibition of products targeted to the industry.

Client: Major Brisbane Festivals

Event Name: Q150 Shed, 2009

Role: Project Manager

In 2009 as part of the Q150 Celebrations the Queensland Government constructed a shed that travelled the state providing each community it visited, a few nights of entertainment.  Some of the thirteen communities toured included: Mount Isa Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Rockhampton, Maryborough, Blackall, Augathella, Cherbourg, Warwick, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.
